Holy cow it’s been a while!

Standard

Hi Everyone!!! I can’t believe how busy my life has been (I’m sure it’s the same for all of you). Let’s see, I’ve finished the 2nd book in the McDavitt series, let it sit a while to let my fresh ideas percolate, and now I have so many better ideas that it’ll probably be a 95% rewrite *very sad face*. It’s hard when the story just doesn’t feel right, but you can’t put your finger on it. I recently put my finger on it and it’s going to be a major overhaul. Which is fine, because it will be that much better!

Also, in April I became a Nana for the first time, so THAT is very, very exciting! She’s a doll, and of course, the light of my life (Insert a million+ heart emojis in this spot). I’m actually on my way to babysit her for a couple of hours, but I wanted to hop on here and say “hello” real quick.

Have a great summer and I will try to get on here a “talk” more often.

Moving Time

Standard

Hi all!! I’ve been so busy these last few months.

Firstly, we’re moving (I’ll have a new office to create in, so I can’t wait to publish new material for you all).

Secondly, I’ve really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on Autumn’s Promise. I’m glad you enjoy Will and Cassie’s adventures. I look forward to giving you more adventures to follow them on.

And lastly, I’ve been working hard on the second book in the series for the past few months. Oh how those McDavitt men always manage to find some trouble! Lucky for them they always have a strong, loving woman by their side! Enjoy your summer, stay safe, and always feel free to comment!

Maine-bound soon…

Standard

Getting excited…I’ll be heading to Maine to visit family.  I can’t wait for the chance to sit on the cabin porch and write a few chapters for the next McDavitt Clan book.  I’m sure I’ll have a TON of inspiration with the charming and beautiful sites…fingers crossed for warm, sunny weather.

My Second Novel: Autumn’s Promise

Standard

Autumn’s Promise has been released and I couldn’t be more excited…and nervous.  It’s always hard to let your “baby” go after spending so much time crafting their lives.  But I love the McDavitt Clan and no family deserves a good love story more than they do.  Currently, I’m busy at work on Mike McDavitt’s life. I wonder who this sexy Irishman with the quick smile is going to end up losing his heart to…and when these McDavitt men fall, they fall hard.  I hope you enjoy Autumn’s Promise, please let me know what you think 🙂

Summary:

“Cassie O’Dell loves her job as a kindergarten teacher, but desperately wants a big family of her own. Her search for the perfect partner hits a complication when her new assignment as the substitute 4H teacher brings her to Will McDavitt’s farm. The big, broad farmer with the sexy Irish brogue gets her pulse racing, but does the widower and single father have enough room in his heavy heart for Cassie and her dream?

Between caring for his young son and struggling to hold onto the failing family farm, the sweet, gorgeous 4H teacher is the last thing Will McDavitt has time for, but a farm is no place for a city girl from Maine, especially a farm facing the threats of a powerful oil baron who will stop at nothing to acquire the family land. How can Will protect the teacher and his family when the more he loves the more he stands to lose?”

April Showers…

Standard

April already~I can tell it’s going to be a great month! As I submitted the information to my publisher for the cover art on Autumn’s Promise, I noticed it was a year ago, to the day, that I submitted the cover art information for A Warrior’s Woman! So basically I sold two books within a year~~I’m feeling quite pleased with myself.

Happy Holidays

Standard

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season celebrating all of their special days! It’s such a busy time of year…hopefully in February we can all take a deep breath and relax! As for myself, I’ve been busy working on Autumn’s Promise (including a possible title change).   Originally I wanted the book sent out before the end of the year, but you know what they say about best laid plans!  So together, let’s all grab 2017 by the horns, show it who’s boss, and make it the best year ever!!!

Fun times with The Romance Studio End of Summer Bash!

It’s been so nice seeing the comments about my new release and gaining followers to my blog.  I wish I had more time to post, but I’m editing my second book, hoping to get it to the publisher before the end of September.  I know, I know, that leaves me ten days…yikes! Stay tuned to find out if a sexy farmer can find love with the 4H teacher who turned his farm upside down…along with his well-protected heart.  I think we can all agree it’s time for those hard-bodied farmers to have the spotlight for once!

July is over

Standard

I can’t believe July is over and I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to blog!  I’ve been crazy busy with my second book and promoting A Warrior’s Woman.   Now I’m checking into a YouTube trailer for the book.  It’s definitely interesting seeing all of the advertising available.  Tomorrow is the last day of one of my favorite months.  Once August is gone, ladies and gentlemen, we are going to slam into fall like a runaway train!
